My name is SFC Michael Hutt and I have been on Active Duty with the United States Army for 16 years. In 2001 I was accepted into the Special Operations Community as a Combat Medic. I have been deployed to both major combat theatres; twice to Afghanistan for Operation Enduring Freedom, and five times to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom.

During my tenure with the community I had sustained differing injuries which culminated in surgeries to fix what had degenerated (a right shoulder "Mumford" removing two inches of my collar bone; bilateral, partial Achilles tears). But during my last deployment, I sustained the most grievous injury of them all: an injury to my cervical spine which compressed discs C5 and C6 into my actual spinal cord. I had begun to lose feeling down my right arm and hand and immeasurable pain was a part of my daily life. The surgery for that entailed replacing those discs with a prosthetic.

I left the Special Operations community to recuperate. Since leaving, the toll of years' worth of missions with the community was catching up to me. I have degenerative Facet Arthritis of the Lumbar Spine, and most recently was evaluated as having clots forming in my left leg (Deep Vein Thrombosis; DVTs).

I admit I was a big skeptic of the Qoleum products as I had already been treated with all that "modern medical science" could have thrown at me. I contacted Rebecca Day and voiced my skepticism and she sent me some products based on a body map. I did not take any of this at face value and looked at the references and researched all that I could to find about the products and her ingredients. I started using her products based on her instruction and with a lot of communication with her.

With the DVT, I had a complete cord of the saphenous vein and after following her instructions for two days it was gone and the vein felt completely normal. The pain I had accepted as a normal way of life in my neck and back is not completely gone, but it is no longer a constant companion and much less noticeable. I have had my commander and CSM comment on the way I am moving and acting, meaning people can see this marked difference. I understand there may be a thousand scientific reasons for the saphenous clot leaving, but when it comes right down to it, these products make me feel fantastic.

I am an avid Bass Fisherman, and before using Qoleum was left exhausted and in a huge amount of pain after only a few hours out on the water. Now I can spend an entire day out there, sitting, standing and moving around without feeling like I had been bashed around by the end of the day.
