The new school sign which is also the new uniform logo on all the children’s clothing.

First pair of shoes

At the school handing bags of summer uniform including shoes to all the children, many of the children looked younger than their age due to malnourishment which meant lots of sewing to make the uniform fit. Lots of tears of happiness for some it was the first time they had ever owned a pair of shoes.

The chance of education

One of my favourite photos, at only 6yrs old putting is bag of uniform to carry like a Porter. Being a Porter has been the only work available to those who have not had the chance of an education.

Caps and polo shirts with new school logo all the children looked smart and happy…

After to getting to know all the parent I found out one of the mothers Charina Kulung Rai is a Everest Marathon runner standing here with her two children. Charina is has now become a fully sponsored athlete. How good is she I asked? 2nd place 2022 and 7th place 2023 due to illness. Impressive Everest Marathon is one of the hardest marathon’s in the world!

Pangboche Basic School playground will be part of our next Expedition Humanitarian in Nov 2023.

Pangboche Basic School playground with its impressive views needs some repair building a stone wall to keep children safe, new Basketball and Volleyball equipment which will be part of our on going humanitarian projects. Giving the children a hope and a furure plus education they dream about!
